Christian Audiences

The following topics would be appropriate for churches, retreats, and other ministries:

Nine Ways God Always Speaks

Based on the book by the same name, this topic can be adapted for groups of any size and any age. Topics addressed can include: Does God really speak to us here and now? How does God speak to us? How do we know if it is God and not last night’s pizza? How would life change if you went through it assuming that the Creator of the Universe wanted to connect with you? Why does it seem that God speaks to other people but not to me?

Six Prayers God Always Answers

Based on the book by the same name, this topic can be adapted for groups of any size and any age. Topics addressed can include: Why does prayer feel so awkward? What is the right way to pray? Does God answer all of our prayers? Why does it seem like some prayers aren’t answered or not answered in the way we expect? How does God answer selfish prayers? What is the prayer God rarely answers? What is the prayer God hates to hear? Will God bargain with us? How can we pray unceasingly when we have stuff to do?

How to Have an Unforgettable Life

Leaving a legacy isn’t about donating a lot of money and having a building named after you, it’s about the small things that add up to what people remember about you. If you want to be remembered after you move, change jobs, or die, it’s the small seemingly insignificant things that will make a difference. In this session we talk about some of those and give practical steps you can take now to leave an unforgettable legacy.

Four Connections You Need to Get Ahead

People often think that others get ahead because of their connections. In this talk, Jennifer says it’s true, but it’s not the connections you might be thinking. Using her story as a way of getting people to think about their own life, she talks about how connecting with your dream, connecting with people who are further along the journey, connecting with yourself, and connecting with community are the things that help us to get where we want to be. When used for Christian audiences she also includes how connecting with God has made a difference in her life.

Freedom to Dream

Are you held captive by expectations, a job, or family responsibilities? Do you have a dream that you long to set free? In this interactive session, you will discover your dream, find out why your dream is important, discern whether it is God’s vision for you, take steps to invest in your dream through goal setting, and learn how to respond when your dreams are derailed. This Biblical presentation prepares attendees to leave with a dream that has eternal consequences.

Your Topic

With enough time and notice, Jennifer is willing to craft a topic specifically for your needs. Whether it is teaching a character study on Leah or a topical study on tithing she is glad to create a customized presentation for your needs.

What They’re Saying…

Jennifer is a vivacious, passionate communicator. She professional and organized in her presentations. Her sense of humor helps to engage her audience. Most importantly she is a woman whose life has been changed through her relationship with the Lord. She uses her gifts to empower others in their understanding and application of God’s plan for their lives.

-Marsha Crowe, Minister to Women

I invited Jennifer Schuchmann to deliver the keynote address at our church’s annual workshop for religious education volunteers.  She was the ideal speaker:  thought provoking, interesting, entertaining, and definitely inspirational.  All of our hundred-plus attendees had nothing but positive remarks about her talk, and many couldn’t wait to read her “Six Prayers” book to hear more from her.

-Jen Moss Truitt, Religious Ed. Coordinator, St. Oliver’s Catholic Church

When you said you would teach our Sunday School class, I had high expectations. On Sunday you well exceeded those expectations. Several members of our class made special mention of how much they enjoyed your talk. Thank you for your excellent service to us and to our Lord.

-Bill Slate, Johnson Ferry Baptist Church
