I knew I was in trouble when one of my best friends said he had trouble getting to my web site because he couldn’t remember how to spell my last name. I don’t hold it against him. In fact, I understand how he feels. I married this name and the one I traded in for it (Sullivan) was a lot easier to spell and remember.

But my friend’s comment was an insightful one. If those who know and love me best can’t find me on the Internet, how will readers? Over the past two years I’ve done a lot of radio and TV interviews. I know that most people listen to the radio in their car and so when they give my web address, it’s unlikely that anyone is writing it down–let alone remembering it later. On TV the URL flashes by so quickly even if someone tried to write it down it would be easy to miss a consonant or two.

So after some serious market research (I polled on Twitter and asked my other friends what they thought) I’ve moved my official site to WordsToThinkAbout.com.

If there is one thing I want my writing to do, it’s to make people think, so whether you’re here to read my blog, buy a book, or hire me as an author or speaker, I hope you find something that provokes new thoughts.

While you’re here I’d love it if you look around. Click on the pages (Blog, Books, Media, Speaking, Writing, About) at the top of the screen. Check out the sub-menus below each of the pages, I’ve spent a lot of time updating them and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment on this post (or any other) by clicking on comment. Tell me about you, your blog, your website, or your interests. I’d love to start a conversation with you, it’s likely your words that will make me think.

We can also converse via Twitter or Facebook.

I am all about the conversation. I know for some people an online presence is about numbers, but I don’t really care about the numbers, I care about the relationships. I’ve met and carried on fascinating conversations online and some of those have resulted in real life relationships, so please take a moment to start a conversation with me.

If you read something you want to share with others click on the “Share This” link and you’ll be given options to all of your favorite social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon, Blogger, and of course, email.

Finally, I have to thank John Saddington at Milk Engine who created this incredible site. John isn’t cheap, but he’s good. He was also very patient and very kind. I feel so fortunate it that he was willing to share his techincal and creative abilities with me. If you think so too, give him a shout-out on twitter (@human3rror) or leave him a comment below.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll come back soon.

~Jennifer
