ABOUT

Whether writing or speaking, Jennifer loves the challenge of taking difficult concepts and finding ways to make them easy to understand, practical, and transformational. She excels at organizing masses of raw material into book form while maintaining the voice and intent of the original communicator. When possible, she enjoys collaborating with other like-minded writers, artists, and professionals.

Jennifer’s most recent book, First Things First (Tyndale 2009), by Kurt and Brenda Warner, hit number ten on the New York Times hardcover non-fiction best sellers list. She wrote the seventy-five-thousand-word book in nineteen days, turning it in a day before it was due. Jennifer has written two books (co-authored with Mark Herringshaw) about prayer. The first, Six Prayers God Always Answers (Tyndale, 2008), is about how we talk to God; the second, Nine Ways God Always Speaks (Tyndale 2009), is about how God talks to us. Her first book, Your Unforgettable Life (Beacon Hill, 2005; co-authored with Craig Chapin), discusses how the seemingly insignificant things we do add up to be the legacy we leave. She has also ghostwritten a book for an international leadership consultant.

Jennifer has contributed her writing to other books, including Loved: Stories of Forgiveness edited by Rebecca St. James (FaithWords, 2009); Pearl Girls (Moody 2009); The Church Leader’s Answer Book (Tyndale, 2006); the Couples’ Devotional Bible (Zondervan, 2007); and Whispering in God’s Ear (Waterbrook, 2005). She has published over one hundred magazine articles and regularly does work for corporate clients.

Her writing has appeared in: Today’s Christian, Marriage Partnership, Christian Parenting, Your Church, Atlanta Magazine, Advanced Christian Writer, Christian Communicator, Drama Ministry, and Creator, as well as local and Web-based publications. Other writing projects include church curriculum, the books for four musicals, a one-act play, business workbooks used by missionaries to help entrepreneurs in third-world countries, and numerous for-hire projects, including fundraising letters, press releases, and ghosted magazine articles.

In addition to the media that she has done to promote her books, Jennifer can be seen as the host of a series of interview specials for WATC-TV. She is a frequent guest host on Friends and Neighbors, a Christian talk show that airs across the United States on Sky Angel Satellite Network and Europe on Vision Heaven Network as well as local stations.

An accomplished writer, trainer, and speaker noted for creative and practical approaches to business and spiritual topics, Jennifer has an extensive public speaking background. She holds an M.B.A. from Emory University with an emphasis in marketing and communications and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Memphis.
